The San José Chamber Orchestra joins forces with the Choral Project (Daniel Hughes, conductor) and special guests Vivace Youth Chorus (Peggy Spool, director) and vocalist Juanita Harris to present WINTER’S GIFTS: FAMILY.

Music resonant with the emotions of family in all its forms and celebration that inspires change for a better world. Music from various cultures from around the globe that honors our current and ancestral homes as well as our diverse holiday traditions. We Heard Them Back When

San José Chamber Orchestra presents violist Zhanbo Zheng, winner of the 2017 Klein International String Competition, a new work by the winner of the 2018 Allen Strange Memorial Composition Prize, an up and coming singer presented in collaboration with the Merola Opera Program and the SJCO Senior Youth Orchestra side-by-side with SJCO in a grand season ending salute to youth.
